Custom RPC definitions

User-defined RPC control definitions.

Create custom definitions when the bundled Powerman definitions do not cover the RPC model or protocol you need to control.

New Custom RPC definition items can be added.

Custom RPC definition

A custom definition that can be selected by RPC connections.

Properties

Label

The label used to describe the RPC this definition is for.

The label should describe the connection method this definition uses, as well as any specific version requirements.

Definition type

The subsystem used to operate the RPC.

The definition type determines which control backend interprets the definition and sends commands to the power controller.

Number of outlets

The number of outlets on the RPC.

This count controls how many outlet entries are created for connections that use this definition. Set it to the number of independently controllable outlets on the RPC.
