Output interfaces

Send packets that match the input interfaces and filter rules to these output interfaces and zones.

The interface that a packet is chosen to be sent from is determined by the most specific route with the lowest metric, from the set of all routes on the output interfaces.

Interfaces

Match packets output on the following interfaces.

Forwarded packets must route out through one of these interfaces. Leave the list empty to allow any output interface that otherwise matches the route.

Match packets output to the following zones.

Forwarded packets must route out through an interface in one of these zones. Use zones when a policy should follow a group of interfaces.
