SNMP MIBs
When an SNMP device (like a router, server, or UPS) reports its status, it sends a string of numbers called an OID. Without the vendor's MIB file loaded into your network monitoring system, you will only see these raw numbers. The MIB file contains the key to decode these numbers into plain English, telling your software exactly what the metric is and how it should be formatted.
You can download all the Gearlinx MIB files here: gearlinx-mibs.zip.
